This hospital was amazing when it came to giving birth to my son. I couldn't have been located in a better place. They have a NiCU on site as well as air-ambulance services.
Simply appauling care. The nurses don't care about the patients, too busy gossiping at the main desk. Flatly ignore requests. Requested a wheelchair which took over an hour. Changed the diaper of a bedridden patient once a day. Doctor refused to listen to patient concerns. Blatantly mis-led the patient on possible medical options. After talking patient to UNMC, she recieved the care she requested that Good Samaritan said was "unnecessary and too much work" within hours. Cannot stress enough the substandard care that was provided at Good Samaritan. Seriously, AVOID
Nurses in pediatric unit treated me horribly. Was admitted for pain management post-surgery and put on a pump to manage pain. My nurse would get mad at me and pressure me not to use the pump and then later on would be mad that I didn’t use it as much as she thought I should. I remained in pain most of my hospital stay because I was being guilted away from using what was provided to me. Nurse was horribly condescending as well.
ER Doctor treated our staff from care facility terrible. He was rude and treated them like they were stupid.
