Affordable, comfortable, clean. If your willing to spend a few extra bucks beats staying at cheap motels
Very clean facility and rooms. Sometimes budget hotels are run down and careless with their upkeep. The Kearney econolodge was an exception to this. The hotel is not chic or luxury. But if you're looking for an affordable hotel that's well run and clean, this is it. I've stayed at Sleep Inn hotels (for example) that had more modern decor, but still somewhat run down. Here, the decor was more traditional, but there was much more attention to detail. Bathrooms were nice. Breakfast was served and some items were hot. The double queen rooms were very big. We really had a great experience.
The hotel was located fairly close to the highway. We used a mobile device to select the room and called in to hold the room. We selected a suite, which consisted of a king and 2 queens with a small sitting area that included a pullout sofa. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very small. There is no elevator. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing special.
Arrival and check in with manager VERY pleasant.
We had two queen size beds. One bed had a huge deep indentation. Felt like you were falling into a hole. We turned on tv IT worked for awhile then it quit. We changed the batteries but that didn't help. Manager moved us to a room across hall. New room VERY nice and everything works just fine.
Sand in the bed sheets. The front desk manager brought clean sheets to our room. Upon removing the fitted sheet there were yellow stains on the mattress pad. The manager couldn't find another pad so she offered a different room. We put the sheet on the mattress without a pad and went to bed. The manager was great, the hotel...not so much
