Bar staff has very high levels of drink, beer, and shot knowledge. Love music at least once a week, if not more. Very friendly atmosphere!
This was my very 1st visit to Gillies and to Kearney Nebraska! Thought that both were quaint places. The live music playing that night was AWESOME! And I even commented on how their drinks are the BEST drinks I have ever purchsed anywhere in America! And I have traveled up & down from the East Coast to the West so that's speaking volumes fokes!
Rocked out with my band here 3/18/17. Smallest stage I've ever played. One of the best sounds we've ever had. Tom the sound man knows what he's doing. The bar staff and people at Gillies made the night super fun.
Metal lives in Kearny at Gillies. Drinks are normal prices. They have a selection of cocktails they can whip up if you are into that. Full bar, awesome smoking area out back. Tiny and fun little spot to jam or catch a live act.
