I had been a long-time patient of Dr. Hendrickson, but recently found out he gave me sub-standard care. In 1994 I had a traumatic accident in a blizzard and one of my front teeth got knocked back 90 degrees in my mouth. Dr. Hendrickson said I would need a root canal and crown to save my tooth. My dad and I proceded with his treatment. I got the root canal and crown and Dr. Hendrickson said he put in a post to make my tooth stable. He even gave me a plaster replica of my mouth to show the work he did. Over the years after I moved away other dentists commented that my post was "really long" and just this month 15 years exactly I had started to get pain in my front tooth. I got it checked out and when this dentist got into the back of my crown there was a "large gap" and no post! My root canal had been filled with a sub-standard product! Now I am having it redone the correct way! My new dentist says I'm luck my tooth never broke they way it was. I feel Dr. Hendrickson was counting on me coming back a few years later so he could get more money out of my pocket!!
