I have stopped here twice now for the night at Kearney, Nebraska en route to Utah. The place was clean, affordable and the manager and staff were very friendly. Always welcomes you with a bottle of water and a smile. Free breakfast selections wasn't too bad.
This hotel is a great value for the price. It's one of the cheapest hotels in the area, but doesn't feel dingy or run down. It just feels clean and nice. We stayed the night here with 2 adults, 4 young kids and a dog. Three kids on a bed and one kid in a hotel pack and play. The beds are soft and the pillows comfortable. Which is the way I like it. The refrigerator works fine, but needed to be plugged in first. The breakfast is a standard continental, good but basic. The internet over WIFI is FAST (roughly 80 Mbps up and down). So I took advantage of it to upload a ton of photos and videos to the cloud that I'd been fighting with at slower connections. Overall my biggest complaint is that with 6° F weather outside the rooms heater was set too high. I kept slowly adjusting it downward. But with just a rotating knob it took a long time to find the right temperature. Another unexpected thing is the tax for a one night stay was about $15.
I would definitely recommend staying at this place.

It's a great location, lots of places to eat and you can walk to them too.
I chose to stay at this particular hotel because it's dog friendly and most of the reviews spoke about how clean it was. Well it did not disappoint, as it was exceptionally clean. This alone is reason enough to choose this hotel. However, there were numerous other benefits as well too.....
The rooms were clean and neat. There was nothing to complain about. The breakfast was also good. Worth the money.
The manager of the property truly cares and makes his best effort to ensure the comfort of his guests. As an example, the ice machine was broken, so he ran (literally ran) to the nearest convenience store to purchase a bag of ice. He offered to help us with our luggage. The room was clean and had no noticable odor. The breakfast was excellent and had several options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel and return here if I'm in Kearney again.
