It was a good room for the price. The bed was comfortable. The woman that checked us in was polite. The only problem was the continental breakfast. They were trying to rush and get everything put away and we didn't get much to eat. Overall it was a good experience.
Would be five stars but the building was noisy. We stayed on the ground floor. Flushing toilets through pips in the walls at all hours of the night, doors slamming shut (they are old really heavy doors), etc. The beds were the most comfortable of all the places we have stayed on this trip. The room was clean and the staff was fantastic. Will stop here again and stay on the second floor next time.
We stayed in room 243 on Christmas. The HVAC unit seemingly only had two modes: off and flaming depths of hell. We ended up walking up at 4 AM drenched in sweat. The HVAC unit was also not insulated, so you could see and feel the -5° air right outside the room if it wasn't running. It was not a good experience. Otherwise, the room seemed decently clean and well kept.
We don't stay in motels. Stayed in motel because we Had to go see mother in law for thanksgiving In Kearney Nebraska. We were out at 6 in the morning to do black Friday shopping. The gentleman there at that time working on the breakfast bar wasnt very friendly. The gentleman that was at the front desk when we returned was friendlier when we tried to carry on conversation I was always told clerks should be friendly for service. Room was clean & quiet. Food was good. Thank you
