Don’t stay at this hotel. They will gouge you for every penny they can. Book a room with two beds, but still pay an extra $10 per kid. For the extra money, you’d think maybe the rooms would be special or something but you’ll likely find a leaky mildewing fridge and a dirty tub... not to mention bed coverings from the 80’s. Don’t get excited about a pool, seems it’s constantly under maintenance and no refunds will be given for that. Don’t get excited about the continental breakfast. Your only choice will be cereal, toast or a waffle. If you ask for the nutrition label to read the ingredients, you’ll be ignored and treated like you’re crazy. The management was rude and not helpful the least. Continue searching. Save your money. Do not stay here. You will not be comfortable.
I was going to give them four stars. Cause the staff was friendly. But, TWO ISSUES! 1ST BIG ONE, BED BUGS!!!! Driving back to Wisconsin from Colorado, stopped at Western Inn and my animal was freaking out. She never acts up. I was wondering what was happening... Then in the morning I saw blood stains on the bed. Like little marks. Which, I should have checked. But, I have been so tired from driving. Later got back on the road, and started getting ichy... First my arm, then I noticed my back. I HAVE RED WELTS EVERYWHERE!!! Called to complain, didn't get help at all. No refund. Not anything! I'm so pissed!!!! The other issue was the breakfest was said to be at 7am, so instead on getting on the road at 5am I stayed. It was 7:10, and the doors were still locked. Called front desk. He said a few more minutes. Waited. Not pleased. Come inside at 7:30am, to cereal.. and waffles... No fruit Even? What took so long? Also, couldn't eat the food.. Cause I have celiac disease.. Normally a hotel has yogurt, or fruit. I hope NOBODY EVER GOES HERE! EVER!
Do not stay here. This place offers the old bate and switch deal. This hotel claimed it was non smoking and the room reaked like cigarettes. How can you over charge for the room and expect me to sleep with bed bugs. I left and went to motel 6. SHOCKER!
This place isn't bad for the price, but could be a little nicer/cleaner. It appears they've started updating it a bit but still could use some more work (the pool was also closed for maintenance). The bed was older, stiff and felt super cheap. The AC ran great, got the room cooled down quickly. The mini fridge and microwave also worked good. Best thing is the non-smoking room we got actually didn't smell of smoke or the horrible cover-up spray hotels love to use!
