They have a newly-remodeled restaurant that includes new tables and seats. They have also added electrical outlets and USB ports in a strip beside the tables on the outside walls. Their food is always delicious. I've never been disappointed in either service, friendliness or food. They are so popular, you might have to wait a short time but it's never long and people keep coming back and are willing to wait for the delicious food you'll enjoy.

The food is good but the prices just went up. My friend and I both ordered coffee with our breakfast. They brought over a smaller pot than they used to. Maybe a little more that 2 cups each. $2.29 ? Each person. They seem to me know what to leave out at a meal, more ppl what extra. So mind was bad enough. My friend had coffee, house potatoes,? Idk. Hers was $19.85? Mine was $11. We love to go there but I think they are looking for a higher clientele.
Portions scanty for price of the food; coffee tasted like it had dishwater made with it; silverware waterspotted with dried food on forks and knife. Service was very good. Waitress tried to make up for silverware issue. She offered my wife plastic utensils after attempting 3 sets of silver which were all dirty.
I've been going to this same Perkins since the early 90s. I am always very happy with both the food and the service. They don't care how long you stay, they always have a smile, they're always happy to get the food the way you want it. Perkins did away with my favorite omelette quite a few years ago, the country club omelette. But, they are still very accommodating and make a couple of adjustments to another omelette that they offer. I highly recommend the Perkins in Kearney to anyone. My only negative is that the coffee is getting too pricey, it was I think $2.50 a cup. But I do recognize that some people go in and drink coffee for a couple of hours. But it did make me get water rather than the coffee. It would be nice if the coffee could be cheaper if you were ordering a meal.
