Live music and decent price on drinks...always a good time here!
We came here before an event in town for dinner. My wife and I were eating and the waitress approached us stating that my wife was shutoff. She hadn't had even finished her second beer. The manager refused to come over when we asked to speak with her to ask why she was shutoff. She has the short hair and puts silverware in the table. The service was slow he food was ok at best. The nachos chili was skimp on portion but tasted pretty good. I got the steak tips they came out over cooked. I asked for med rare and it came out medium well to well done. It was tough to cut. Didn't have time to wait for another one and we were just unhappy and dissatisfied with the customer service and food proportions. We won't be coming back
The drinks are priced well, including the liquers you don't find everywhere. The staff is friendly. It's a great place to meet new people and old friends.
Nice place, beer was cold but dancing is not something you can do at this bar. The customers are allowed to stand on the dance floor with their drinks to listen to the band. There was no room on the dance floor for dancing so we danced between the bar and a row of tables. I can't believe in Kearney no one at this place knew how to two step. Just a thought; maybe an hour before the band starts you could offer free dance lessons.
No/ poor drink specials. Almost always a cover. Usually does have live music but not worth the cover. All drinks higher priced compared to other local bars.
