A huge shout out to Laura for making our visit to Mac's Creek Wine Bar a wonderful experience last week when we visited Kearney to see the Sandhill cranes! She was so friendly and welcoming and shared lots of information with us about the winery's owners and the history behind some of the names given to their wines. She also was a wealth of knowledge about the Kearney area and Nebraska in general. Perhaps the Nebraska tourism board should be paying her commission! We ended up ordering a case of the Spring Mist special vintage rose'. The winery donates $5 for each bottle sold to the Rowe Santuary.

Regular stop of ours when we cross Nebraska. Good wine and a good atmosphere. The cheese it snacks and cider are great.
